Dr. Michael Larson, M.D.

I’m an Orthopedic Surgeon with a passion for how the body works and for the great outdoors.

About Me

My Specialties

I am dedicated to providing the best care to those I work with and giving them a chance to keep doing what they love.

There are several things I enjoy doing, but most of all, I enjoy being in the outdoors. When injuries to bone, joints, or tendons occur, it’s hard to continue doing the things you love. I am dedicated to providing the best care to those I work with and giving them a chance to keep doing what they love.

My training is very strong in hand and upper extremity surgery and my practice includes hand, foot and ankle surgery, and surgical treatment to trauma of the musculoskeletal systems, such as fractures, tendon and muscle repair.

About Me

With all that I enjoy doing, I understand how important it is to get back to what you enjoy doing most.

I enjoy the outdoors with particular interests in cross-country ski racing, river running, backpacking, horse packing, bow hunting, and fishing. I particularly enjoy spending time at my cattle ranch in the mountains of Wyoming and here in Rexburg.

I enjoy my work knowing how important it is to those that face different injuries to get back on their feet quickly.
